XR510: POWER AND PRACTICALITY FOR INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

Read Time: 3.5 mins

The new XR510 fixed-boom crane from Fassi stands out for its 5.1-ton lifting capacity, representing a new product for the truck-mounted straight-boom crane market

The XR510 is the latest fixed-boom crane from Fassi, aimed at bolstering the company’s presence on international non-EU markets. Created to respond to demands from strategic areas such as the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas, the XR510 combines solidity, versatility and technological innovation. Designed in Italy at the Fassi R&D centre and manufactured at Fassi’s Asia Pacific production plant in Malaysia, this model from the XR range marks a significant evolution in the company’s global vision, offering practical answers to the needs of an ever-more-competitive sector.

With a maximum lifting capacity of 5,100 kg, the XR510 represents an ideal solution for those looking for a combination of high performance and simple, intuitive use.

Manufactured in the Nilai plant in Malaysia, the XR510 represents an example of how innovation and reliability can come together in a single product. The heart of the XR510 is its telescopic boom, made in ultra-high-strength steel and with a hexagonal section. Its unique structure guarantees extraordinary load capacity at reduced weight, facilitating transportation and operation. The boom has been designed to ensure fluid motion thanks to a valve that reduces friction, thus improving precision and reliability.

High-performance winch

The winch is one of the main strengths of the XR510; installed inside the column, it is driven by a powerful and reliable hydraulic motor-reducer. The winch provides lifting via a steel hook and cable, which is fitted with a hydraulic brake and a system of limit sensors with cable guide to guarantee the utmost safety and reliability.

Continuous hydraulic rotation

The XR510 is fitted with a compact slew ring that has been designed to guarantee fluid motion, even on rough ground and at an incline of up to 5 degrees. This system improves performance during complex manoeuvres, ensuring generous rotational torque and highly precise movement, with a continuous 360-degree angle.

FX 200 electronic control system

Safety was one of the top priorities in designing the XR510. The electronic control unit monitoring load conditions provides operators with information that allows them to assess the working conditions to which the crane is subject, and is fitted with a block command in the event of excessive overloading, offering the highest levels of protection for both the operator and the structure of the crane itself.

Optimal stabilisation

The hydraulic stabilisers on the XR510 offer unmatched levels of versatility and can be rotated to facilitate fitting to vehicles.

Command levers

The use of specific advanced control valves for the command levers guarantees excellent response during activation, as well as extraordinarily precise control in all situations.

A durable and generous tank

The 100-litre steel tank, fitted with integrated gauge and oil filter, ensures that the hydraulic circuit is kept as clean as possible.

Three configurations

The XR510 can be adapted to a range of situations, thanks to its three specific configurations:

  • XR513: fitted with two hydraulic boom extensions, for operations requiring compact dimensions and precision.
  • XR514: with three boom extensions (two hydraulic and one with a cable), for increased operational versatility.
  • XR515: four boom extensions (two hydraulic and two with a cable), for those looking for maximum extension without sacrificing load capacity.
